Privacy notice
For zava.pro — this sign-in and early-access page. Last updated: 2026-08-07.
Plain language, no boilerplate. This covers the public zava.pro page only. Once you sign in, the Zava portal at ops.zava.pro is a separate, access-controlled service.
Nothing runs until you choose
Analytics and session recording are off by default. On your first
visit you get a banner with two equal choices. If you decline, or simply never
choose, no analytics script and no recording script is loaded at all — not in a
reduced mode, not at all. If you accept, we store that choice in your browser
(localStorage, key zava.consent.v1) so we do not ask again.
You can change it any time from the Privacy choices link at the
bottom of the sign-in page. Switching to “Decline” reloads the page so the scripts
stop immediately.
What we collect
- Analytics events (Google Analytics 4) — only if you accept. Page views and interactions, referring site, approximate location derived from your IP address, and device/browser type. We do not send your email address or any other identifier you type into Google Analytics.
- Session recordings and heatmaps (Microsoft Clarity) — only if you accept. Clarity records how you move through this page: mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and page structure, replayed as a session. Clarity masks text input by default.
- Early-access signup — only if you submit the form. If and when you submit your email through an early-access form on this site, we store your email address, the time you submitted, your browser’s user-agent string, and a fixed source label identifying the landing page. That is the whole record. It is stored in Microsoft Azure Table Storage in a Zava-controlled subscription.
- Ordinary web server logs. Our host (Azure Static Web Apps) keeps standard request logs, which include IP addresses.
Why
- Analytics and recordings: to see which parts of the page confuse people and fix them.
- Signup data: so a person at Zava can contact you about early access. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
- Server logs: to keep the site up and to investigate abuse.
How long we keep it
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Google Analytics event data | 2 months — GA4's default "Event data retention" setting for user- and event-level data on a new property (adjustable up to 14 months in Admin → Data Settings → Data Retention). This is Google's documented default, not a read-out of our property's actual configured value. As of 2026-08-07, see Google's Data retention help article. |
| Microsoft Clarity session recordings | 30 days from the time of recording for standard playback; recordings marked as Favorites, or a random sample Clarity retains for ML/heatmap purposes, may be kept up to 9 months. As of 2026-08-07, see Microsoft's Clarity FAQ. |
| Early-access signup record | Kept until you ask us to remove it, or until we retire the early-access list. There is no automatic deletion job today. |
| Web server logs | Microsoft does not publish a fixed default number of days for Azure Static Web Apps' raw platform request logs. They are retained per Azure's standard logging behavior for the service; if diagnostic settings are turned on to forward them to a Log Analytics workspace, retention then follows whatever is configured on that workspace (30 days by default there, adjustable). As of 2026-08-07, see Azure's supported logs reference. |
Who else sees it
- Google — Google Analytics 4 processes the analytics events. The tag script itself is delivered from
googletagmanager.com. (There is no Google Tag Manager container on this site; the tag is loaded directly.) - Microsoft — Microsoft Clarity processes the session recordings.
- Microsoft Azure — hosts this page (Azure Static Web Apps) and stores the signup records (Azure Table Storage).
- Microsoft Entra ID — handles sign-in when you use the Sign in button, which takes you to ops.zava.pro.
That is the complete list. No advertising networks, no data brokers, no other trackers.
Getting your data removed
Ask us and we will delete your signup record, and tell you what we deleted. Email: hello@zava.pro.
You can stop analytics and session recording yourself at any time, without asking us, using the Privacy choices link on the sign-in page.
